The Power of Shadow

Reimagining space through Kahn's vision
Inspired by Louis Kahn’s exploration of light and shadow, this identity system captures the dynamic relationship between these two elements that define his architecture. Kahn’s belief that "shadow belongs to light" is the foundation for a visual language that transforms the space between light and shadow into a powerful, defining force.

The system draws from Kahn’s perspective sketches and the angles of shadow within his architectural works, creating a dynamic visual language that reflects the evolving interplay of light and shadow. It celebrates Kahn’s philosophy by translating these elements into a fluid, two-dimensional design, where form and space continuously shift, revealing the profound impact of shadow in shaping architectural experience.
